I am a feminist by heart so the header slash title is a little stereotypical for me. (LOL) But, I am also a realist and with that comes the admission that compared to men, women knows little about wine and things related to it.
Although, it is also to say that regardless of gender- since gone were the days where etiquette 101 was taught- knowledge to proper social skills often lacks in people and included in that is the wine basics- the types, what to accompany our food with, how to taste one, even the right glass and proper handling we are clueless about. That is not something to be ashamed of- there's a lot of us out there believe me! However, it is not something we can't do anything about. All we have to do is admit to our ignorance (and laugh about it) and start learning! :)
