My Katipunan & beyond: Flaming wings

I first tried out this restaurant way back 2007/8, my 1st/2nd year in college and didn't even order the best sellers. Since then, despite my many years of being a katipunera as a student, then as a resident, then as a student again, I didn't go back for some reason. So it's only when my older sisters (finally) decided to treat us for lunch here did I find out the reason behind their long-standing good reputation.

....and that is the Chicken tenders (their wings also of course!)

P.S. went crazy over their blue cheese deep... always do!

 Hunger Buster P130.00
My sisters, having seen my dish and feeling sorry for my unwise ordering skill, gave me bites of this best seller. The tender in Wild sauce was really spicy. Caution to those with faint hearts! The balsamic mayonnaise however balanced the heat. The other was in Oriental sauce-sweet with the right amount of kick. My sister had the bleu cheese dip to go with this. They don't go well together but are separately good! Sauces/dips can be seen below (if you can! lol!)

 Chicken Piccata P150.00
Boneless chicken cutlets, capers and garlic in butter and lemon juice
This surprisingly tasted really good. I am a fan of capers and for it to be combined with garlic,  butter and the tangy lemon juice resulted to an unexpected goodness. Originally served with pasta but converted to rice instead- diner's choice.
