The 2013 election is fast approaching, with only 5 days left to finalize voting list. Every election, most Filipinos rely on jingles/commercials/PR tricks of candidates. That, for me, is an unreliable basis for voting. Some places candidates base on name recall; who has a more known surname, who has a surname similar to well-known personalities, etc. Thankfully, most are becoming smart voters- joining forums, listening to debates, watching news, following socially active social media platforms, and the likes.
There are a lot of informative blogs/sites dedicated on providing all necessary information about candidates- platforms, previous work, belief, background, so on.
We all should do our part for the betterment of our country. Practice your right to vote. Be an informed voter. Be involved.
